The US dollar is still the reserve currency of the world. Even with Bernanke trying to destroy it. Each candle represents 9 days.
You can trade the US dollar a few ways. If you have "futures" permissions you can trade the DX contracts directly or you can buy "UUP" which is a tracking stock.
